Before I started everything with a plug was attached to two daisy-chained surge protectors, and all from one wall outlet.  I was concerned that any further expansion had the potential of creating a hot box in the wall.  So the first task was to split the load between 2 different outlets using a wall mounted protector.  That serves the computer, the printer (usually off) the telephone, the lamp and the cell phone charger.

That left 4 monitor cables, 2 for the modem,  3 for the speakers and 3 for the router, all on the floor.  The rest is in the pictures.

Nice job, I'd like to do something with my wires, but with the desk up to the wall I can't get to them.

Thanks.  Maybe when you build your new desk you can make some provision for cables.
